Parasisal Free-Form Hat is an in-studio millinery class (12 hours) that explores creative, sculptural hat-making without the use of a traditional hat block or form. Students will learn how to design and construct an occasional hat directly by hand, using free-form techniques to shape, support, and balance the piece. Instruction focuses on developing structure through wiring, layering, stitching, and material manipulation, allowing for expressive and organic forms.

Emphasis is placed on experimentation, individuality, and understanding how materials behave without rigid foundations. By the end of the class, each student will complete a unique free-form occasional hat that reflects their personal aesthetic. This is a beginner-level class; basic hand-sewing skills are required.

Materials & Supplies: Materials are not provided as part of the class. A detailed materials and supplies list will be emailed to students one month prior to the class. The tutor will also prepare an optional materials pack available for purchase at $35 per pack.
